How to delete your data
Every way to stop Markyard reading your mail, remove what it has stored, or have your whole account deleted, and what each one does and does not remove.

Disconnect a Gmail mailbox
- Sign in to Markyard as an owner or admin of the workspace.
- Open Settings → Connections.
- Find the mailbox and choose Disconnect.
Markyard asks Google to revoke its access and deletes the stored access token straight away. From that moment Markyard no longer reads or sends mail for that mailbox. Inquiries already imported from it stay in your workspace until you delete them (see Delete inquiries).
Remove access in your Google Account
You can also withdraw Markyard's access from Google's side at any time, without signing in to Markyard:
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions while signed in to the Gmail account.
- Select Markyard and choose Remove access.
Markyard can no longer read or send mail from that moment. Its next check marks the connection as revoked in Settings → Connections; choose Disconnect there as well to delete the stored, now useless, token.
Stop the Apps Script connector
If you connected with the Apps Script connector instead, it runs in your own Google account, so stopping it has two halves:
- In Markyard, open Settings → Connections and choose Revoke next to the mailbox. Markyard immediately stops accepting anything from that connector.
- In Google, remove the script's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Without it the script can no longer read or send mail.
- To remove the script itself, open your copy of the connector spreadsheet, go to Extensions → Apps Script → Triggers and delete the trigger, then delete the spreadsheet from Google Drive and empty it from the Drive trash.
The connector adds the Gmail label Markyard/Obradeno to conversations it handed to Markyard. You can delete that label in Gmail; deleting a label does not delete the mail in it.
Delete inquiries
An owner or admin can delete an inquiry from its menu in the Inquiries list or in the Archive. Deleting one permanently removes everything on that conversation in Markyard: the customer's emails and their attached files, the extracted details, drafts and replies, and the quotes and jobs made from it. It does not touch the original mail in Gmail.
A completed inquiry is locked as a record of finished work and cannot be deleted on its own; archive it instead. It is deleted with the workspace.
Delete customers, files and artwork
- Customers: open the customer and choose Delete, or use the delete button in the Customers list.
- Files you uploaded to a customer or job: remove them from the customer's files.
- Artwork Check: delete a saved design from the tool. Imports you never saved are deleted automatically after one day.
- Your profile picture: remove it in Settings → Profile.
Delete your account or workspace
Deleting a whole workspace, or your account, is done by us on request, as there is not yet a button for it in Settings:
- If the workspace has a paid plan, cancel it first in Settings → Billing, so PayPal does not charge you again.
- Send the request through the contact page or to foilifyprint@gmail.com from the email address you sign in with, naming the workspace. For a workspace, the request has to come from its owner.
We confirm the request with you, then delete within 30 days: the workspace's members and invitations, inquiries and their attachments, customers, products, prices, quotes, jobs, tasks, files and artwork, connected mailboxes and their tokens, and your account. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as billing records, and only for as long as it requires. We confirm to you when the deletion is done.
Get a copy first
If you want your data before it is deleted, say so in the same request and we will send you an export in a common machine-readable format first. You can ask for a copy at any time, not only when leaving.
If you wrote to a print shop that uses Markyard
If your email reached Markyard because you sent an inquiry to a print shop that uses it, that print shop decides what happens to it. Ask the shop to delete your inquiry; they can do it themselves as described above. If you cannot reach them, contact us and we will pass your request on and help them answer it. See our Privacy Policy for more.
